So, theres no denying that life isn't a bunch of roses, as much as we would like it to be its not, to be fair I personally wouldn't want it to be, I would find it extremely boring and were's the growth in perfection!

Just a small encouragement from a few things that I've learnt this week - and thats learning how to embrace your bad days - Ive had a few this week and its through nothing physical but mostly just things in the mind. I was hard on myself, got into a state of self pity thinking why me, is it ever going to be smooth sailing journey - and the honest truth is its not ...Until you learnt to control the Mind. The matters of the mind are so important for our stability, mental state and all round health.

Philippians 4 says whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. And its literally that simple, whether a believer or not you can adapt this principle ,YOU are in control of your thoughts. YES YOU!

And in addition - Why not brighten up you wardrobe with something summery , like this absolutely gorgeous cardigan from Miss Guided.

Remember is not so much about your surroundings or your current situations as it is about the thoughts you ponder upon daily.

Think of good things for yourself, believe the best and get excited for your tomorrow.

Daily I find my self having a 5 min emotional melt down - wondering whats next, which direction, what now - and then my senses kick in and I remember that God has a plan. I now live in the moment , enjoying the now and looking forward to the future.

I find that as females, we can be so hard on ourselves and easily give in to unnecessary emotions, fall in to self pity and worse case get caught up in depression. I've recently been feeling like this but the moment I got up, got dressed and got ready with a BRAND NEW mindset - things started to change.
I had to do things on purpose and I had to make an effort rather than just expect things to fall on my lap. I had to make that phone call, go out and visit that friend, and want to be out my house doing something productive - My house was becoming too much of a comfort that I literally became stuck to my bed watching re runs of Friends.

If your ever feeling like this I urge you to do something on PURPOSE!!! Your future self will thank you for it and you'll be mad you didn't do it sooner.

On a journey of self love and God empowerment. Sometimes it gets lonely when your focused on your dreams or working towards a goal but you have to continue going - fight the good faith and believe the best for your tomorrows. The Diligent shall see the rewards.

After a long dry Jan (not the no alcohol type) but in terms of the new year hype has gone, it seems like its months till the next payday and the weathers literally pants, I Speak a new zeal into things, a new mindset and an explosive rest of the year,

If in anyway your feeling discouraged or literally over the month of Jan I encourage you today - February is around the corner lol - No but seriously things are already better and this year shall be greater then your last. Get excited because I am!

Afternoon and Happy New Year to you all ...Its 2018!! How crazy is that, I honestly believe that 2017 was the quickest year in history!!

Im back again and kicking of this year with a beauty review from none other then Beauty Cocoon.

Now this box included some of my favourite items, there was lashes from Lash Limited, Lipsticks from LaSplash cosmetics, Nail varnish from Mynx London and Cosmetic Glitter (which I've never used before this ) from Sarazaar cosmetics.

So many different brands to try and range of product to play around with. One thing that I really love about these beauty boxes is that they always included a description of the products and where they can be found - So you have a chance to actually check out these companies and see what else they have to offer.

I'll be doing more of an in depth review of the Lash Limited Eyelashes and the LaSplash Studio Shine lipsticks this week so please look out for that on my socials and also on Beauty Cocoons Website.
